Thinking of volunteering? Well then you are in the right place!

Are you brilliant at making a brew? Maybe you are a motivational marvel, that gets everyone involved? Or are you a gardening genius that would like to show others how to grow their own?

Our volunteer roles are as varied as the people in them, so whatever your skillset or knowledge if you have time to spare, then we would love to have you on board!

Once you have joined the volunteer team, you will become part of a friendly bunch of people who want to improve the health and wellbeing of the communities we are all part of. Get involved in projects and programmes that make a real difference to peoples lives. Our aim is to help people ‘Live Better, Feel Better’ and who wouldn’t want to help do that?.

To join as a volunteer, you must be 18+ and we ask you complete our application form, and a member of the team will then get in touch. They will arrange a one to one with you to have a chat about what you would bring to the service and will give you the chance to ask any que

stions and find out more about the service. Here we will complete identity check and anyone who is assigned a volunteer role must gain satisfactory clearance of providing references, Right to Work and undergoing a DBS and Occupational Health check.

Once checks are complete, volunteers undergo an online learning training package, giving volunteers confidence and skills within a variety of areas. You will receive full training on any project you are part of and given regular ‘check in’s’ with a member of the team to see how you are doing. You also receive an ID badge to prove you are one of our fantastic volunteers here at St Helens Wellbeing.

Don’t just take our word for it though! See below some videos of our brilliant volunteers explaining why they wanted to get involved in volunteering and what a difference it has made not only to the local community, but to them personally.

Well..all that’s left to do is to get signed up! All you need to do is click on the projects you are most interested in and fill in the form. One of our Volunteer Coordinators will be in touch to give you any more information you need and get you started on your volunteering journey! We can’t wait to meet you!

Just fill in our expression of interest form below and we will be in touch with how you get involved!

Telephone 01744 371111 or Email chcp.sthelens@nhs.net

A member of our friendly team will be in touch.
